Talked to both L1 & L2 officers in uscis. They have no idea whether this is an error or not. All they can tell is that it is the adjudicating officers who decide on the extension period. They advised me to send back the original cards with a new application to fix the error. I talked to my attorney and we are not going to do that. We will send an application to extend this EAD card before it expires.

being current means nothing, belive me, I filed 485 in March 2004 when everything was current for almost an year, we need IV reform the system to better work for Highly skilled professionals,
I know in coming months many of us might get GC, including many in IV-core team, but I would like to IV go further after getting GC to continue their effort to put a closure by passing SKILL as a law which is our goal

mine wantedW2 from 2003 (since i joined this job) but no returns
and last 2-3 pay stubs
BUT: mine is an NIW case so i think she wanted to prove continuous service since 2003 in this job (under served area), she also asked the employer for a payroll printout since january.

I-140 approved, and more than 6 months since 485 application.
I just used my AP. Now can I change the employer on H1? I am hearing something that the latest I-94(that I got at POE last week) has my status as AOS, so the H1 transfer may not be possible. Is this true?
I am sure lot of the people has the same question. Can some clarify?

In the absence of a date, it is 6 moths from admitted date, by default. You may confirm this by calling USCIS.
That is not true. There is no default assumption and call center folks have no knowledge about things.
I have first hand experience with the same scenario at the same airport and CBP said it was a good idea to come back rather than assume a 6 month stay.

My I140 filed in EB3 was denied yesterday for not having Mathematics as majors.
RFE was according to ETA 750 client accepts 3 years foreign degree please provide your transcripts to prove you have taken courses in maths, we though this was a simple query.
But I have Maths as major subject in my 3 year degree, we sent Letter signed by Registrar of Osmania University India on Math syllabus for my Degree and educational evaluation saying that Math is equivalent to maths in US Bachelors degree and also the transcripts with math highlighted.
But surprised to see this denial letter.
My attorney is confident that we would win the case if we appeal against the decision
what are my alternatives now and how long is it taking now to process this appeal.
Sorry to hear. But I suspect a retort to this REF saying Mathematics is the major from the same professor could do. But I think they will approve your case anyway. What is service center you applied.

If you read clearly then it says that you can keep the PD in your new employer GC process. You may loose that opportunity only if there was a fraud in the previous I140 and USICS revokes that I140.
once the alien�s Form I-140 petition has been approved, the alien beneficiary retains his or her priority date as established by the filing of the labor certification for any future Form I-140 petitions, unless the previously approved Form I-140 petition has been revoked because of fraud or willful misrepresentation.
So if your current I140 is clean then you will be able to use the PD in your next application for GC with the new employer.
Check in the Sheela murthy chat session dated : December 18, 2006 and search for "my employer cancels I-I40?"
Looks like we can port the priority date ..., even our employers cancels I-140....

2. I140 receipt
3. I485 receipt
4. Paystubs for 6 months of employment post I1485 receive date

I think we can get some financial support from Housing Market !
Facts:

The housing market is slowing down significantly and there are millions of unsold homes out there.
More than 1/2 million people are stuck in the green card process. I am sure
most are waiting for green card before they buy their house and make longtime commitment.
I think we are a "Frozen" pool of customers for the Housing Market.
500000 H1B X 200000 (average house price) = 100 billion dollar market is just
inaccessible just because of retrogression.
I think we should convince them to help us FINANCIALY.
Please IV Core members take this idea seriously and at least
SEND A LETTER TO National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) president.
