Yes BC stands for Birth Certificate. I saw this text in the VFS site for us consulate under Required Documents
For parents visiting a child resident in the US:
If child is an Indian citizen.
a. Childs�s original birth certificate.
b. Photocopy of all pages of child�s passport.
c. Where the US visa of child has expired, photocopy of the renewed petition required.
d. Where child is a legal permanent resident in USA, photocopy of the green card (front and back) is required.
If child is a U.S. citizen.
a. Photocopy of bio-data page of US passport or photocopy of Naturalization Certificate.
So is this requirement only when ur sponsoring ur parents?

If you are making 200K+/yr, just bite your lip and stay put. There are very very few careers which give you such a good pay scale.
I don't think you can do a MS in CompSci with out a BS with same specialization as far as understanding subject matter goes, but you could possibly do an MS in Information systems or similar.
But it all depends on your GRE score. If you have a high GRE score with good percentile in quantitative section then you could get into a good program.
I came to canada in 2000.I have been in USA Since 2003.
I started the GC process in Ohio, moved to bay area in 2006,stated the process again, recaptured old PD( EB2 all the way). Was hoping to get GC in Aug 2008 when my PD was current for 2 months. Hope will get it this year.
After moving to bay area I saw lots of engineer,mostly software, seemed happy with jobs. Started doing some search and found that this is one of the least stressful jobs in US with great salary and growth potential. There is no more growth in my field and it is very stressful and draining.

Sorry about your situation. Its really sad with kids here. I would say submit whatever letter vendor's providing. If that doesn't work, then client needs to force the vendor/employer to give copy of the contract/SOW.

Talked to both L1 & L2 officers in uscis. They have no idea whether this is an error or not. All they can tell is that it is the adjudicating officers who decide on the extension period. They advised me to send back the original cards with a new application to fix the error. I talked to my attorney and we are not going to do that. We will send an application to extend this EAD card before it expires.

4. Even if they harp upon your stay of 6 months without a status, it should be wiped clean once you were admitted back in to the country. I think there is a precedent and law for this. cannot recall it right now.

It was struggle with my wife;thanks God she got the EAD more than a year ago. Therefore she is working now and a little happier. I am also OK in my current work. The problem is that I have missed more than 4 job offers that would allow further career growth and potential much better rewards.
Since my wife couldn't work, we had a baby back then.
Tell me, which country in Europe are you from ? I have a very good friend of mine who is Italian. By the way, if you are in the Seattle, WA area, feel free to come over and join us. We get together for good wine, lasagna, "churrasco", etc pretty much every weekend with our Italian friends. The way I see it, is that while we wait for this insane visa bulletin advancement, at least we should allow ourselves to drink a good wine and eat nicely :-)
South of Brazil sounds good to me but my husband is not open to it and he is the one who is Brazilian :rolleyes:
He is much more in favor of Europe and since I have EU passport we can basically live anywhere and he would be able to work the next day :D I feel like I have put so much effort into this by now that I'm not walking away this close. We will hang on and make decisions once we have GC and options to chose. You are so close! Don't give up now after waiting so long! Is your situation at work that bad? Is your wife working?
